Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born in Mecca around 570 AD. His birth was accompanied by miraculous signs, like his mother experiencing no typical pregnancy pains and a bright light filling the house on the night of his birth. These events highlighted the significance of his arrival.
The Prophet (PBUH) faced many challenges in his early life, losing both his parents by the age of six. Raised by his grandfather and then his uncle, he grew up to be a man of great character. At 40, he received his first revelation from Allah, which began his mission to spread the message of Islam. Despite facing opposition, the Prophet (PBUH) guided people towards goodness, teaching them to follow the straight path to gain Allah’s blessings. His teachings spread beyond Arabia and influenced people worldwide.
On this special day, Muslims offer prayers and send blessings (Salawat) upon the Prophet (PBUH). Communities also organize events, Naat competitions, and processions to honor his life. People prepare and share special meals, fostering a sense of togetherness. This day reminds Muslims of the Prophet’s teachings and the importance of following his example in their daily lives.
