Ayat al-Kursi, verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah, is one of the most significant verses in the Holy Qur’an. It beautifully captures Allah’s supreme authority, infinite knowledge, and unmatched power. The verse affirms that Allah is the only deity, the Ever-Living, and the Sustainer of all things. Unlike human beings, He never experiences fatigue or sleep.
The verse highlights Allah’s dominion over the heavens and the earth, stating that nothing can intercede with Him without His permission. It also emphasizes His comprehensive knowledge, which encompasses everything seen and unseen in existence. The concept of Allah’s “Ayat al-Kursi” or throne symbolically represents His boundless authority and power.
Muslims often recite Ayat al-Kursi for protection, believing it shields them from harm and evil. It reminds us of Allah’s constant presence, providing a sense of peace, security, and divine connection for those who regularly reflect on its meaning and significance.
اللّٰہ کے آخری نبی حضرت محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم نے نئی فرمایا جو شخص آیت الکرسی کو اس طرح پڑھے گا۔
آية الكرسي (سورة البقرة، 2:255)
اللَّهُ لا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ
يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ
وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ
وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ
وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا
وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
جب گھر سے نکلتے وقت پڑھو گے تو ستر ہزار فرشتے ہر طرف سے آپکی حفاظت کریں گے۔
جب گھر میں داخل ہوتے وقت پڑھو گے تو آپ کے گھر سے دور محتاجی دور ہو جائے گی ۔
جب وضو کے بعد پڑھو گے تو ستر درجے بلند ہوں گے ۔
اگر رات کو سوتے وقت پڑھو گے تو ایک فرشتہ ساری رات آپ کی حفاظت کرےگا۔
اور اگر فرض نماز کے بعد پڑھو گے تو آپ کا ایک پاؤں زمین اور دوسرا جنت میں ہو گا۔
